Ice is a professional filmmaker with Oscar® and Emmy® nominations and is listed on the Internet Movie Database. He worked for many years in Hollywood as a sound editor/designer and was responsible for the sound for many television shows (including the last 100 episodes of M*A*S*H) and over 65 feature films. He has won an MPSE (Motion Picture Sound Editors) Golden Reel award for his work on M*A*S*H and also won awards from Eastman Kodak and the Phoenix Firebird Festival of the Arts for his film "Games". David is also an accomplished Harpist and has performed with many orchestras, and regularly plays for symphony concerts, musicals, and private events. His interest in monorails began with his first visit, at age 5, to Disneyland--the year the Disneyland-Alweg monorail opened!--and was instantly hooked. Making this video fulfills his life-long dream of visiting Japan's monorails, and David is very happy to be able to create a film about these monorails. David had over 10 hours of footage to cull though in order to deliver the final video. We think you'll love the footage he selected and the fantastic job he's done with Monorails of Japan!
