This tall section of the track comes just after the arched bridge.
Tall? Well, not in comparison to the Petronas Towers!
Next stop is Medan Tuanku Station. David is preparing
to shoot video of the the train leaving the station. From this
profile angle, you can really enjoy what I think is one of the
best-looking Alweg monorail train designs in the world.
Medan Tuanku Station is where you can get incredible
pictures of the monorail running through the trees with the Petronas
Towers in the distance. I've said it before and I'll say it again...monorails
blend in very well with the skylines of cities.
Same station a little later in the day. Storms are
moving in around us, but the silvery Petronas Towers still gleam
in sunlight.
Here's Medan Tuanku Station as seen from KL Tower.
The New York taxi train is headed north and has just negotiated
another 90-degree turn.
