Look between the art deco skirt and the beam and you get a nice
close-up look of a side guidance tire along with a backup rim
in case of a rare tire failure. Please don't touch the bus bar.
Let's look under the hood! The nice folks of Seattle Monorail
Services kindly allowed me to watch them install a rebuilt motor.
The red container holds a gear box.
Guidance tires revealed as you don't normally get a chance to
see them. The larger load bearing wheels are hidden above.
A newly rebuilt motor that hasn't been hooked up to the drive
shaft yet.
