Severn-Lamb
| Severn-Lamb makes a monorail called the SL series. The first major installation of their people-mover class system was for Suntec City in Malaysia. The latest installation of this system is in Savio, Italy. The beam can be either fabricated steel or pre-stressed concrete. Standard drive is 30 to 45 kW AC motors on each bogie. Maximum speed is 50 kph (31 mph). Minimum horizontal radius is 20m. Passenger capacity is 146 people/train. |
