These are LARGE, subway-capacity trains! Each four-car
train 478 passengers, and up to 1078 with crush loads.
Kokura Station, as seen from an elevated pedestrian
walkway.
Departing Kokura station the two beams come together
with help from this interesting support. I shot this image in
the early morning before these elevated pedestrian walkways were
crowded with people going about their business.
This fabulous view is from the Kokura Station Hotel,
located directly over the monorail station. The train is entering
the original Kokura Station, the original terminal station for
the line. Tanga Station follows closely around the bend.
