Kitakyushu Monorail was also the first monorail in
Japan to include a heavy dose of landscaping below the guideway.
More steel sections of track over lush landscaping.
Probably the most unique feature of the Kitakyushu
Monorail is the Jono-Kitagata section. Here an expressway and
the monorail were built together and share the same supports.
