Advertising is part of the profit-making enterprise of the Seattle
Center Monorail. No, the train has not been renamed, but was carrying
the name of a special Titanic exhibit at Seattle Center. Another
classic landmark from the 1962 fair is seen, the Space Needle.

New on the landscape at Seattle Center is the Experience Music
Project museum. Architect Gehry designed the melted-metal museum
to wrap over the monorail track. Below the guideway is a cue line
for a simulator ride, and I was told by museum staff that people
sometimes think they are in line for a ride on the monorail.

The unusual design of the museum gets plenty of looks, and opinions
on it vary greatly. Look closely and you can see the Space Needle
reflected on the mirror-like walls.
