A closer view of Maecheon Market Station

Carol makes new friends while walking on this new riverside walkway, which was built at the same time as the monorail.
Colorful train wraps are popular in Korea, as in other Asian countries.
We enjoyed exploring the Sincheon River alignment more than any other area of the monorail. The image Carol shot with her iPhone here ended up as a great example of "monorails are green" shot in Kim's photo-filled book: Monorails: Trains of the Future-Now Arriving. Buy it, you'll be glad you did! Thanks if you have already.
Hmmm, I wonder if we can get a good elevated view from way up in one of those towers?
Here's proof that building invasions don't always work. This is the best angle we could get of the monorail from one residential tower. We didn't dare ask a resident for access to their apartment for a view either! At least we could see the nice park we had visited across the river.
This exercise machine plaza was added along the river walkway/monorail alignment.
Gorgeous trains and stations, yes?
